ABOUT ME

I am a fun, laid-back and easy going, 22-year-old female teaching English in Prague, Czech Republic. I graduated from Louisiana State University in May 2012 with a degree in Mass Communications concentrating on public relations. I am well-kept, neat and easy to get along with. I am innately curious and excited to meet and learn about new people, places and cultures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted two couch surfers with my roommates in New Orleans during the summer of 2012, before moving to Prague. I really enjoyed giving the surfers a tour of my home town and getting to know them as people.

Interests

I love to get lost in a good book, document my surrounding through photography and writing and dance to whatever reaches my ears. I am particularly active; so I also enjoy hiking, biking and jogging. I love a good movie. Finally, I try to focus my activities around my greatest passion, travel. I love to engulf myself in new surroundings and cultures. When traveling is it my goal to understand as much as possible regarding what I am seeing and doing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Almost Famous, Anna Karenina. Books: The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Great Gatsby, Confessions of an Economic Hitman. Music: Lana De Rey, Regina Spektor, Lady Gaga, The Killers and mostly folk music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Glacier Bay National Park in Alaska found me completely awestruck. It is the most beautiful place I have ever seen. This overwhelming, natural wonder is quite a sight to see. I am also enjoying all of Prague's majesty.
