ABOUT ME

I grew up in NY... moved to PA for two yrs b4 I was sent... jk... to boarding school in MN (family tradition). I loved it there! Actually this is why I am still in MN. I graduated from Bethel University and taught in Roseville for two years as a lead elementary ESL teacher. I just quit my job to move to Japan for a year to Teach English and be a missionary. I love Jesus and I have a thing for traveling and meeting new people. :)I have been to 5 continents too. I am hoping to hit up Australia when I am in Japan (if time and money allow) to make 6.

My love for travel began when my grandparents took me n my bro to Disney World when we were kids. Then when I was 13 they took me to London & Norway for a family reunion. Right then and there I knew I'd be a sucker for traveling and learning about other cultures.

PHILOSOPHY

I live life for my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He is my constant and my rock. I also believe that we all need to live life in this moment with no regrets. It is fleeting and sometimes we forget how valuable it and the people around us are.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I am only going to be able to participate by making friends or visiting others couches... While I am in Japan I will be living in a very small studio and have no room for guests. SORRY! When I come back to the states I own a nice town home that could accommodate some sweet travelers or I can just show u around the city. :)

ONE?!?! Hmmm... when I lived in Spain, I traveled to Taize, France to a monastery. It was amazing to see all of the different people of all different languages and cultures come together and worship. I didn't speak ANY of the languages and I made so many friends! Then on the last day, I find out that there is a group from MN there... and the co-worker of my friend's mom was in it! The world is not as big as we might think.
