ABOUT ME

I grew up in a small town, loving family, nice childhood, ect...never felt like one of the herd. Just floated along in my own little world and as I get older I realize just how important it is to keep growing, not to stop just because it's inconvienent or unpleasant. I've found that being too comfortable is not always the best thing and sometimes family brings a little too much comfort and lulls me into a deep sleep. So, travel, I have found is my saving grace! Meeting new and interesting people and experiencing new things helps me discover things about myself I never knew. I simply love it!! and I don't know what I'd do without it!!

PHILOSOPHY

To be as kind, loving, patient, supportive, respectful and gracious as possible every day that I live! That is what I strive for!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to travel and connect with people around the world. I always learn so much about myself every time I travel! I joined to meet new & interesting people all over so I can return hang out with friends and eventually host friends from around the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well I just joined so none so far involving random strangers...but I've couch surfed for years at various friends houses or apartments! In fact I did it just the other weekend and woke up with dog hair in my mouth.

Interesses

I love the outdoors! Surfers, ha,ha!! Art, architecture, history, science, the environment, time travel, reading a really good book, hiking, biking, boating, repelling, camping, and of course traveling! Hanging out with good friends old and new and just having a great time, while I have the time, and there's no time like the present!!

Movies..I can't think of one that could really some up me...but I really did enjoy Amilee.

Books...right now I am reading Eat,Pray,Love

Music...I love indie electronic, electronica, house, indie rock, classic rock, all kinds really...as for specific bands...I could go on all day! But if you like the Presets..I already like you!!

Well...ummm..I've been practicing English for 27 years, so I'm pretty good at that. I have other random skills, like anyone, but sometimes you don't notice because it's something you've always done or done well:)
