I am a spontaneous person who loves to read, eat, explore new places, and learn as much as possible about other cultures. I value good conversation and consistent, kind people who work their hardest to reach their fullest potential.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in living life in a way that lets me enjoy all the wondrous small things around me that I miss when I am moving too fast and prioritizing poorly.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a travel writer and therefore am almost always traveling. I split my time between hotels (since I write about lodging sometimes) and couchsurfing (which teaches me more about the local culture). My boyfriend and I are currently in Thailand looking for a place to live, where we can't wait to host couchsurfers!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Ive couchsurfed in Ecuador, Argentina, Morocco, South Africa, and Thailand. 99% of my experiences were great, the other 1% makes for a pretty interesting story;).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Driving through a massive cloud outside of Cuenca, Ecuador. Felt like I was flying, but I could reach out and touch the cloud. Lots of close animal encounters in Africa. I'm obsessed.
