I am 26 years old. I am an event coordinator / audio-visual technician at an arts center in Washington D.C. I grew up in Kentucky, right across the Ohio River from Cincinnati. I've lived in D.C. for about 3 years now and love it! My friends and I will star locations on Google Maps of restaurants and bars to try so that when we walk around the city, we can see if there are any starred locations near us (would highly recommend). I have lived in London and have visited a handful of Great Britain and European countries but am hoping to explore countries outside of that area in coming years.

I am incredibly easy-going and open to any suggestions of places to try. Haven't come across a food I haven't liked yet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling internationally has always been really important to me, but as I reflect on my past trips...I've noticed that I haven't experienced these places as a local would. I joined couch surfing so that I could travel in a way that puts me right in the middle of the music, art, and food cultures that give that city its identity. Also, the language barrier can be intimidating, so I'm hoping to make some new friends around the world!
