ABOUT ME

After a year abroad, I have recently moved back to Oregon to go to school. I would love to travel around to new places in North America after traveling all around Europe last year! I spent a year in Europe to travel and learn French, so I worked in Switzerland as an au pair. I enjoy cooking, eating, hiking, biking, playing basketball, knitting, reading and watching movies.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately, I cannot host surfers at my home, but I am more than happy to meet up for coffee or a bite to eat whenever anyone is in town!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch Surfed 6-7 times around Europe... I was absolutely amazed at the hospitality my friend Heidi and I were shown every single time we couchsurfed. We met some interesting and fantastic Europeans and it was SUCH a great way to really get to experience the cities we travelled to!

Interests

I enjoy doing just about everything. I really love outdoor activities like biking, hiking and kayaking. I absolutely LOVE to travel (as does much of the couchsurfing population...), but I also really enjoy curling up to watch a good movie or read a good book on the weekend.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite movies include Pride and Prejudice, Gone With the Wind, Anne of Green Gables and other classics. I enjoy reading historical novels and travel books. Celine Dion and ABBA are among my favorite music artists... But I like just about all music.
