CURRENT MISSION

I wish I knew, I am currently traveling and exploring the world trying to figure things out. I am probably someone who will spend the rest of their life looking though.

ABOUT ME

I am the typical college student I suppose, my life consists of studying, drinking lots of tea, participating in campus and community activists groups, and going out and celebrating life. I am currently abroad in France, though when I return to the States I will be a senior at Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX. I am majoring there in Political Science and theatre (with an emphasis in costume design) and hopefully minoring in French. I am not totally sure what I want to do once I complete school, but I am leaning towards eventually becoming a high school history teacher. We will see though, I have plenty of time to decide.

I am pretty laid back though for the most part and I just enjoy meeting new people and seeing new places.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I am unable to host people because I am living in France, and then when I am in the states I like in a dorm room, but I would be more than happy to meet people for coffee or a meal and show them the city. Though I cannot wait for the opportunity to host my first guests!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed in Nottingham and Derby England for my first CouchSurfing experience and I LOVED it. It is so cool getting to meet people from other countries and learning the inside scoop of their country and town from them. I feel I would not have seen as much and had such a wonderful experience if I had stayed at a hotel. My experience have made me eager to reciprocate their kindness to other fellow CouchSurfers.

The most amazing thing I have done and maybe seen was a peace march I participated in, in Austin, Texas. I think what was so cool was to see a group of people from all age groups gathering to show their support for a US Department of Peace and then we marched down the main street in front of the capital without stopping at traffic lights and just doing a walking meditation. The feeling was simply exhilerating knowing that cars and the rest of the world is stopping around you has you march down the road.
