Hello!

I am a Canadian woman who spends the majority of my time on the road travelling with the Carnival (not the Cruise line). When I get my time off of that I like to pick a place and explore as much as I can.
I do disaster and humanitarian volunteering anytime I get the chance. I’m also a First Aid I stricter so I tend to be quite cautious. Lol.
I believe I was gifted a fortunate life so it is my responsibility to share what I can with others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and meet people who are from the countries I go to. Whether it be spending some time on a volunteer project or a quick couch surf, I like to take time to learn a little more.

When the day comes that I live in one place I also look forward to hosting surfers. Unfortunately that is not possible currently.

Music, Movies, and Books

Jurassic Park will remain my favourite movie, mostly because when I was 13 it came out and was the first time I saw how creative people could be. There are naturally many better movies, but I could watch it over and over and still have the same experience as 13 year old me at the movie theatre.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got to live as a visitor in the Canadian Arctic and watch the Northern Lights from my bed.
I travel with the carnival.
I loved for 6 months in Mozambique and am certified in venomous snake handling

Teach, Learn, Share

I take a long time to learn languages, so I like to try to write and absorb them when I can. I travelled the Balkans a few years ago and learned the Cyrillic alphabet to be able to read signs and more things. I’d like to relearn this as I found it very interesting.

My Canadian sense of humour and politeness 😉.
I enjoy sharing conversations of life experiences and am happy to make some food although Canada isn’t quite known for our cuisine.
