我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm looking to meet people from different backgrounds who may wish to host a fellow traveler, as I've also hosted those I've met and sometimes stayed with along my journeys when they've visited New York. I also love getting to truly know a place from its culture to its people, over the "touristy" atmosphere. Ive never stayed at a resort, that's not my thing. I prefer to stay around the locals and enjoy learning more about the places im in, the "inside scoop" so to speak 😊

Some things I enjoy doing are hiking, exploring, snowboarding and other physical activities, crafting, being around nature and animals, and the list goes on. I watch a lot of shows and enjoy underground and international music. Im also a personal trainer specializing in corrective exercise along with manual therapy to correct a variety of tissue and mobility impingements. If you have a pain in your body I will likely advise in how to fix it 😂

Generally geared toward science fiction/fantasy shows(mostly space and superhero genres.) Favorite book is 100 Years of Solitude and currently reading War of the Worlds.

Been inside the pyramids of Egypt, trekked in the Himalayas, surfing in Indonesia, ate in a Bedouin cave with the locals of Petra, spent Cambodian new year at an orphanage with the happiest kids shooting water guns and dancing at the village party.

I can cook up a delicious healthy meal and share my experiences/advice about many popular destinations. As a trainer I also can lend physical health advice and tips and tricks pertaining to a wide variety of goals. Also if something of yours is broken, I can probably fix it.
