ABOUT ME

I enjoy my life and my work and I try my best not to underestimate it. I enjoy painting, poetry, dancing, singing, and creating things. When I drink a cappuccino, I tend to whistle. No matter how hard I try to sleep with socks on my feet, they always fall off! My partner tells me it is my super power: slippery feet. I have a hard time remembering embarrassing stories and I think it is because 1. I have buried them too deep to recover or 2. I usually laugh a lot when something embarrassing happens and then forget about it. (Except that time in 3rd grade when I sneezed and simultaneously farted during reading hour... just came back to me.)

I also love personality indicators! (MBTI:ENFP, Enneagram: 7 (6 wing), Leo sun sign & Capricorn rising, born in the year of the tiger).

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to music a lot, it helps me do most things. I also like to play music and sing songs. I enjoy reading poetry (Hafiz, Rumi, Gibran, and friends). When I am in St. Louis, I like to go to the independent theater and watch whatever is playing (while eating a Toblerone).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed a mountain and at the top, butterflies surrounded my head.

Life is amazing, even the boring parts. This question is overwhelming to me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to teach any children for whom I will be responsible how to read and the goodness of their own minds and bodies. I would also like to teach folks about the power they have to take care of their own bodies.

I would like to learn how to break dance, and make my imaginary choreography come to life. I would also like to learn how to confidently pick the guitar and learn how to play lots of different kinds of music. But first, I need to learn Spanish.

I would like to share food with people. I would also like to share ideas. I am an idea-machine.
