Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm a tea / herb consultant living in Germany, raising my child with my husband on an organic farm, and loving life.
ABOUT ME
I am a meditator, writer, nourisher and healer. For whatever reason, I seem to get along well with many types of people and to make friends in unexpected circumstances. People often tell me that they like my stories, my enthusiasm and my strange habit of remembering obscure facts about all sorts of useless and useful things.
PHILOSOPHY
Although I'm very pragmatic in many ways, I believe in enjoying life and bringing joy to myself and others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm the kind of guest who does your dishes. If you like tea, I'm also glad to brew you tea made by hand by some of the world's greatest tea masters.
I'm the kind of host who shows you around and gives you the inside scoop on what to check out and what to skip.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been couch surfing / living as a nomad since spring of 2011. Prior to this trip, I spent a summer traveling around the U.S. on a research grant and staying at hostels and friends' houses.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived and volunteered at a tea meditation center in Taiwan for about two years.
Teach, Learn, Share
As a professional writer, I make a good English tutor. If you want me to help you with your English, I am glad to -- it helps me understand my own language even better and is great fun for me!
I am also thrilled to teach people about tea. Tea is my passion and my job. When I teach about tea professionally, I charge a lot. When I teach for pleasure, it's free!
