ABOUT US

Human interaction is one of the greatest things on the planet - I love being part of it, meeting new people, seeing new things, experiencing different cultures is what makes me smile. As such, I love learning languages (although I'm not great at it) so I can communicate with peeps, photography to capture the moment and essence of a place and most of all just chatting, hanging out and having fun. Throw in some dancing and you're on to a winner as far as I'm concerned.

HOW WE PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We're currently living in Hull in the UK and we have very small children so it's a bit tricky at the moment but we're doing a van conversion which hopefully will be ready soon which peeps will hopefully like to stay in. We would love to meet up with other travellers here in Hull so that we can meet people from different cultures and experience different ways of life...and to have fun of course!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Best way to see the real side of a place we reckon! We have been so lucky as to stay with locals in many countries on our travels, some through couchsurfing, some just through meeting them on our journey and every time it's been a great experience and a reminder about how much kindness there is in the world.

Love to dance, salsa especially!
Photography - capturing the feel of a place or emotion on a face.
Music - getting into music more and more, want broaden my horizons and experience everything!
Cycling - love to get out on the open road and see the world up close and personal.
Mountains - the awe and majesty of mountains takes my breathe away. Even in England! My fave place is the Lake District.

We don't get much time to read these days but we do love it, Lucas loves real history and I love a good fiction novel.
Movies - Into the wild, Black Panther, comedies
Music - we like a mixture which includes reggae, salsa, bachata, folk music, Bob Dylan

We travelled by bicycle from Goiânia, GO to Paraty, RJ in Brazil. : )

Lindsey is trained as an English teacher so can help with that but we can also do Poi and who knows what else! : )
