ABOUT ME

When traveling or at home I like finding time to walk around and explore and meeting new people from the areas. I like finding and listening to new music, reading, and occasionally watching Netflix series. I also love karaoke bars and dancing for fun. I honestly can NEVER get enough dancing, but I also love a number of other sports. I also really enjoying reading comics and seeing various types of art - street art, museums, sculptures, etc. I'm not the best painter but I find it relaxing to do, especially with some wine ;)

Currently I'm learning how to sing and play keyboard - it's one of my goals to eventually be able to produce my own music, so let me know if you know anything about that and I am all ears.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hope to eventually host once I have my own place, but currently I have only been a guest and also attended other events in my area.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed for the first time in Argentina during a two week trip with a friend and I met some incredible people. I've also couchsurfed in the United States and Ecuador. Honestly, I've learned so much from the people I've met on Couchsurfing. I love that it is a community of travelers and people who appreciate cultural exchange. Traveling is such a privilege and each time the experience is enriched by a couchsurfing host. I hope to meet new hosts and host people for the rest of my life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: right now listening to - Chance the Rapper, Alessia Cara, The Weeknd, Kimya Dawson, Awolnation, Debussy, LCD Soundsystem, Atmosphere, Bob Dylan, K. flay, Macklemore, Sleeping At Last - I love sharing music with others, so please do so if inclined!

Books: right now reading The Death and Life of Great American Cities by Jane Jacobs, The Cool Impossible by Eric Orton, Eat & Run by Scott Jurek, Sculptor by Scott McCloud

Movies: I love anything Miyazaki, his direction is really incredible. I'm open to anything - the stranger the better for movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Done:
I backpacked around Argentina with crutches, with my best friend Sunsh1n3. That was an amazing experience.

Seen:
Grand Canyon - When you look around you and all that surrounds is canyon you feel so immersed in nature, even with other tourists like myself poking about. My brother hiked to the middle of the canyon, and I definitely want to do that someday.

Stars on Lake Michigan - I went to Holland, Michigan with my family a few years ago, and when I sat on the Dunes I could see stars that looked like they were touching the water. That was really incredible.

Teach, Learn, Share

You can learn something from anyone you meet, which is why people should try and meet as many people as possible.

I'm a certified Emergency Medical Response instructor, so I can teach you about basic first aid, etc. I would love to learn how to dance and how to cook, also how to draw and play music. I will share laughter and good vibes.
