ABOUT ME

I recently finished my master's degree and started working now in the area of work psychology (mental health at work etc.). When I'm in Frankfurt, I try to keep on discovering new events and places, such as open stages/jam sessions, small art exhibitions, cosy cafés etc.
I consider myself to be an open-minded and optimistic person and love good conversations or listening to people's life stories. I enjoy filling my days with a whole lot of activities and prefer being busy than doing nothing all day long (although I need some lazy days once in a while too :-P ). Since I've moved to Frankfurt I've started dancing Salsa on a regular basis which I enjoy a whole lot and which gives me the opportunity to keep on practicing my Spanish :)

Terminé mi "master" hace poco y ahora trabajo en el ámbito de la psicología del trabajo (salud mental en el trabajo etc.). Cuando estoy en Frankfurt, intento seguir descubriendo nuevos eventos y lugares, como "open stages/jam sessions", pequeñas exposiciones de arte, cafecitos acogedores etc.
Me considero una persona abierta y optimista y me encanta tener buenas conversaciones y escuchar a la gente contándome las historias de su vida. Me gusta llenar mis días con mil actividades y prefiero pasar un día sin parar que aburrirme en casa (aunque necesito estos días sin hacer nada de vez en cuando también ;-) ). Desde que me he mudado a Frankfurt, he empezado a bailar Salsa más a menudo. Disfruto muchísimo de las fiestas salseras y aprovecho para seguir practicando un poco mi español :)

Now that I moved in with my boyfriend, we've finally got a living room and a couch to offer :) Apart from that I can give recommendations for Frankfurt (places to visit, bars, restaurants, etc.)

I've hosted a couple of couchsurfers and was hosted by some people during some trips to Spain - had a lot of fun with them :)

Interests

I really like to get to know new people, cultures and places. As this is way easier if you can communicate with people I love learning and speaking foreign languages. Travelling to new places and spending time abroad is one of my passions. I like meeting interesting people and spending time with good friends. Moreover I go to dancing classes (Salsa). I appreciate the small things in life and try to keep my eyes wide open so that I don't miss out on those little special moments or things you can experience every day.

A mi me encanta conocer a nueva gente, nuevas culturas y nuevos lugares. Como eso es mucho más fácil si se puede hablar con la gente, a mi me gusta mucho aprender y hablar idiomas extranjeras. Viajar a nuevos lugares y pasar tiempo en el extranjero es una de mis pasiones. A mi me encanta conocer a gente interesante y pasar tiempo con buenos amigos. Además voy a clases de Salsa. Aprecio las cosas pequeñas de la vida y por eso siempre intento mantener los ojos abiertos y fijarme en estos pequeños momentos o cosas especiales que puedes vivir todos los días.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Bermuda lying on some rocks close to the ocean watching all the shooting stars was absolutely stunning. It's incredible how many stars you can see on an island where there is hardly any light pollution!

Estar tumbada enzima de unas rocas en las Bermudas, mirando el océano y todas las estrellas fugazes fue increíble. Es impresionante cuantas estrellas se puede ver en una isla donde casi no hay contaminación lumínica!
