ABOUT ME

I'm a young woman from Denmark. I was born and raised in the northern part of Jutland and moved to Århus when I started at the University in 2009.
I'm studying Linguistics and loving it!
I absolutely love to travel and I think that's what got me interested in languages.
When I finished high school in 2008 I took a year off so I could earn some money and go travelling. I've always wanted to be a volunteer and help others, so I found an organization called Project Abroad and went with them.
I was in Peru for three months, living with a host family and working with children - both in a kindergarten and in an orphanage.
After Peru I went to Mexico where I stayed for a month, living on the beach working at a conservation project. Our goal was to improve the lives of turtles, crocodiles and birds.
Going to Latin America was the best thing I've ever done, and I hope to do something similar sometime in the future!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

How can I choose one? There are so many things!
Like sandboarding in the dessert outside of Huacachina in Peru, or digging a hole in the sand near Tecoman in Mexico, finding a turtle egg and holding it in my hand while it hatched...
