My name is Ling, my hometown is Beijing, China. I am currently living and working in Melbourne, Australia. My very first couch - surfing experience started in 2012 and at that time I traveled from China to Darwin, Australia. That was an unforgettable experience and after the trip I decided to pursue a study in Melbourne.

People don't know me well probably would think I am an quite person. However, all my close friends say that I am an out - going and open - minded guy. I am really keen to know friends from very different cultures so I can get exposed to stories of their lives. After working time, I usually go to gym and swimming pool. I like all kinds of sports and watching movies!

Now my biggest excitement is the coming trip to Japan and South Korea.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to take couch surfing as an opportunity to meet local people who can share expertise and guide me to make the most of visiting the place. Also, it is great to meet and make new friends, and in future I can host them if they travel in my city.
