I'm living in Coober Pedy for 18 months, heading up a team of wonderful people under the Remote Schools Attendance Strategy. We work in tandem with Coober Pedy Area School but are not teachers... We work with the community and families and try to assist children to return to school or continue to attend school.

I met three wonderful travelers quite by chance one Saturday here in Coober Pedy and they told me about Couchsurfing. I joined so that I could have more people to stay as I think that having a local person show you around is far better than trying to find out what is what in a new town. I also enjoyed the experience of hosting people from different parts of the world....

Reading, Crosswords, Social Media, used to play grass hockey for upteen years and still love to have a game if one is available, love dancing like no one is watching, love music, walking, animals watching the birds in my garden drinking an bathing in the water bowls i have put around the place, Love my family and partner all of whom live in Adelaide at the moment.
