I have a degree in environmental sciences with a focus on the biology of ecosystems. I have also recently competed a graduate degree in Health Geography with a focus on indigenous women's health issues and climate change.

I now work for a Non-Profit organization supporting youth development and community capacity building projects. Our organization partners with a number of professional athletes and olympians to motivate and empower youth through sport and play. I love what I do and that it allows me to travel some.

I also love to travel in my personal time and have been lucky enough to do a fair bit of it through school and different jobs. I am a 'go-with-the-flow' traveller who loves meeting locals to find the best spots off the beaten path and have unique experiences.

I love being active and outside as much as possible and am always looking for natural gems where ever I go.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Let's be honest...student debt.

My parents have done a fair bit of couch surfing and have always had great experiences! If an old couple like them love it...I am sure this is the real deal! haha

But I also love the idea of being able to explore the world and all its neighbourhoods on the generosity of fellow humans. It's a simple and beautiful idea. I believe in good karma and hope I can host one day as well and pay it forward!
