Hey we are Max (f25) and Linus (m23) living in Freiburg Germany. We are an Acrobatic Duo, backpacking/hitchhiking the Mediterranean Coast doing Streetperformances. We are going from Barcelona to Liguria and are hopeing for cool people to meet along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We love to meet new people, would love to bond over some cooking or showing us around your city. We will be travelling with hammocks and a tent and would also be very grateful for tips on where to set up for the night, nice places for our street performances or even if you have space to host us yourself in your home or backyard!

Interests

Linus Interest:
I was in a circus for 8 years and in September I will begin to work in a circus again. So everything around circus and performance is really interesting to me.
I enjoy most outdoor sports but my favourites are cycling, spiking, swimming and bouldering.
Also I’m always interested in a round of chess.
And I do really enjoy food - cooking but also just eating.
Max Interest:
I really enjoy moving and playing in any way! I enjoy playing spikeball or volley with friends and board games as well. I also love visual arts and have recently got into tattooing. I love to dance, hike and just chill at the beach with a good book. I chase sunsets and can stare at bugs and animals for hours.

Music, Movies, and Books

We both love discovering new music. Max is very obsessed with reggaeton.
Linus was surprised by really liking Bridgerton but Max is more into everything else.
We both like Fantasy Books and Movies.
Linus does read in phases. Sometimes he reads 3 Books in a week and sometimes he doesn’t read for 3 Months.
Max loves reading novels but is currently stuck reading academic texts for Uni.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Linus Experience:
My Brother took me hitchhiking to the west of France when I was around 15/16 and it was so adventurous. The first night we just slept on the beach because it was such a warm night. After that we had a really cute camping place just behind the dunes. Since then I really enjoy hitchhiking because you feel less like a tourist and get to met the people who actually life there and can show you around.

Max Experience:
I had the chance to travel alot throughout my life since I was a kid. One of my favorite experiences was living in Spain for a year in a host family when I was 15, which I think really shaped my desire to continue to explore the world! I also really enjoyed the many camping roadtrips I went to discover Canada.

Teach, Learn, Share

We would love to share some acrobatic practices.
Max loves languages and speaks French, Italian, Spanish and is trying to learn German.
We both love to cook and would love to learn new local recipes but also share our creations.
We also crafty and love to create together.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We would simply love to share stories and experiences and get to know local people! We can also cook and perform acrobatics for you. We‘ve both travelled a lot and have stories to share but are also very interested to hear about your stories and get a real feel for the Mediterranean lifestyle.
Also Max can do a haircut.
