I am German but have grown up in a cupule of European countries such as Spain, Switzerland, Bulgaria, the UK and Ireland. Currently, I'm living in France, where I am volunteering for a social project with handicapped children. I love travelling and discovering other countries and cities, and am currently planing an Interrail-Trip across Europe for 2022. Other than travelling, my hobbies are windsurfing, triathlon and theatre, and I am very interested in culture and art.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I see Coutchsurfing as an opportunity to meet local people, to make friends all over the world, and to have a more authentic experience in a new country. It is a great opportunity to discover places which aren't tourist-hotpots. I think Coutchsurfing is a take and give and opens up the world to us.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite film is Matrix, although I can't support what has been made of it in the new movie. I am a great fan of classical literature and drama but do also enjoy writers such as Max Frisch or Jostein Gaarder.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made one of my nicest travel experiences in Spain, where I took a bath in a pink salt-lake, on which surface you could swim thanks to the great amount of salt in the lake. The sunset there was an amazing experience which I will never forget.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can learn a lot from travelling and meeting new people but have to be open-minded and unprejudiced. This can be hard sometimes, but I am very courageous to do so and hope the people I am meeting are willing to do so too. In the end, we can spend an enriching time together, sharing our experiences and learning from each other.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I hope I can share my experiences and my view of the world with my host, and I think a cool and interesting conversation is always enriching for both sides. I enjoy cooking and would love to give a culinary experience from my home country.
