I'm an open minded, leftist-liberal guy from Sweden, mainly interested in literature, cinema, tech (open source software, gaming), food and drink, and all the other epicurean stuff that makes life worth living. I am an atheist, meaning that I belong to the 34% of Swedes that do not believe "there is any sort of spirit, God, or life force". Amazingly, I still have very strong morals and have no issue with other religions or ideologies as long as they respect the choices of others.

I am a firm believer in personal freedom, every individuals right to their own life and body, and the individuals right to freedom of speech and the freedom of opinion.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been a member for many years, and mostly use Couchsurfing to either host people, or to meet up with other travelers when I'm on the road. In a broader perspective, Couchsurfing is a part of my project to restore faith in humanity, because the more people you meet the more you understand that most people are very kind and want very similar things. In other words: "Before you assume you're depressed or have low self esteem, ensure you are not just surrounded by assholes."
