ABOUT ME
I just wrote a long description here and it got deleted... so now I will just give the basics- I grew up in the States, though I was born in Germany- I love traveling and traveled and moved around quite a bit as a kid. (Parents were professors, not military ;) I was living in Berlin for the last 15 months, and now it's on to another European capital- London!
PHILOSOPHY
Justice must always question itself, just as society can exist only by means of the work it does on itself and on its institutions.
-Michel Foucault
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would love to host but am unfortunately living in someone else's house at the moment, so I'm not able to offer my couch! I would be happy to meet for a drink or coffee with anyone coming through the UK, however.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have no couch-surfing experience to date! Just the recommendations of some good friends...once I have a story to tell, I will share it!
Interests
modern art museums (across the globe), one person shows, cabarets, pianos, bars, piano bars, good red wine (and sometimes even not so good), good senses of humor (particularly of the sarcastic or dry variety), live music, architecture
