About Me
*** Living in Edinburgh at the moment. ***
I'm a twenty-something year old woman living her life in a small place on the outskirts of Stuttgart. Got a lot of peculiar passions and interests, like sword fighting, progressive metal and water snails. To be fair, I'm also into beer, walks, nice bars, warm summer nights, BBQs, singing together and exploring culture and nature around me - you know, normal stuff.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have been backpacking (or rather, been backpacked) since I was two years old. I love getting to know different perspectives and interesting people. Practising language skills or to help someone else pratise theirs is definitely a plus. I have been living in Stuttgart for two years and am still getting to know the city and the area. It's always a nice balance of showing people my favourite spots and getting to know new ones together.

Food - I like pretty much every cuisine there is and I love to explore. At home I do a lot of South/East-Asian stuff and leftover-magic, generally very much into cooking.
Actually my taste is much more diverse, but this is how I like to present myself. Try me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Given someone hope when they thought there was none.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know quite a few things about early medieval scandinavia (otherwise known as "The Viking Age"). My skills in ballrom-/latin-dancing are a bit rusty, but still there.
I like to share viewpoints, always with the possibility to 'agree to disagree'.
You never know what you can learn from another human being - I'm interested in almost everything, I'm only bothered that there isn't enough time and brain capacity in the world to get to the heart of all things. So please, teach me about mining in Madagascar, deep-sea-archeology in Sweden or childrearing in rural Wales. I want to know it all!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Crude humour, cooking skills, music, deep or shallow talk, and I'm pretty good at ironing shirts and suits. ;)
