Current Mission: A Canadian with a working holiday visa in Europe currently residing in Belgium with my significant partner. Together, we'll be living and exploring Europe slowly until sometime in 2018 when we hope to fly down under to New Zealand.

About Me:
Born in China, moved to Germany at age 4 ,than moved permanently to Canada at age 6. My parents and I still share a common interest in travel! :) However, I now travel with my Belgian partner and we enjoy city trips, hiking, backcountry backpacking trips, snowboarding, and photography.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We love meeting new people, making friends, and connections! I had my first couchsurfing experience in 2011 when I hosted a Swiss guy and German girl and have since met up with locals through Couchsurfing for day trips exploring the city together.

Interests

Living an hour from the Albertan Canadian rockies I've been able to hike numerous mountains and spend 3-4 days backpacking in the backcountry with friends. I've also hiked the 75km West Coast Trail on Vancouver Island and the 180km Sunshine Coast trail on the mainland of British Columbia. I've also hiked in Thailand, Indonesia, Peru, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, and Guatemala.

I'm fond of playing rugby 15s or rugby 7s, biking, snowshoeing, snorkeling, and scuba diving.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Spontaneous snorkeling with a pod of thirty wild dolphins near Utila, Honduras
-Solo two day backpacking trip to the active volcano of Mt. Semuru in Indonesia.
-Hiking through the Peruvian Amazon and sleeping in a hammock in the jungle, holding a wild baby sloth in a village, and almost strangled by a two metre wild boa constrictor
