Hey, I am Lisa and 20 years old. Right now, I am an Au Pair in McLean, VA, which is near to Washington D.C.. I am enjoying my stay with my wonderful hostfamily. Since it is not my own home, I can't accept any guests. Sorry guys!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

On 7/6/2015, I came to the States with my dream to travel, and that's why I am on Couchsurfing. I want to get to know new people, new cultures and create international friendships. I love that feeling, when you realize that you are bonding with someone. It is great. I have a lot of au pair friends here in D.C., but I am looking forward to have a great time with wonderful, open and new people, who can show me the best and most fascinating locations in the city, I am going to stay in.

I am starting my travel month in July 2016 with my two best friends from germany and we are looking forward to find awesome hosts in major cities.

兴趣

My interests are travelling, enjoying the moment (that means, not taking selfies every 10 seconds, in order to catch the moment; live the moment!), sports (I played handball for 11 years). I love football, basketball, every kind of sport really, music, clubbing, hanging out with friends, singing, animals and being a loyal friend.

I listen to all kinds of music, but my favourite is EDM, Dancehall and Black Music. I also love Country Music a lot. In Germany, I went to a lot of festivals, like 'Rock am Ring'. Music makes me happy. My fav movie is 'White Chicks' and 'Illuminati'. I also do love 'Harry Potter' and a lot of other movies.

I think the most amzing thing I have done is to come to the States by myself. I really talk a lot and I have dreams. And everybody knows, there is a differnce between talking and doing. I had a plan in my head and I did it, although my friends did not support me at first, they thought I was joking.

You gotta do your own thing and love what you are doing.

Dear future host,

if you are looking for an open-minded person, who can teach you, how to order beer in german or a partner in crime, I am the right person. As I said in my previous texts, I want to see the best locations in your city. I'd love to make new expiriences and new contacts and enjoy the rest of the time here in the States.
