I'm a fairly laid back and positive type of person, love a good laugh over a glass of wine or exploring new cafes and restaurants to find new and different things to eat. I'm open minded and willing to give anything a go, at least once, especially when I'm travelling! Coming from New Zealand, I'm a bit starved for history seeing as the colonial settlements in our country are so young, that's half the reason Europe appeals so much to me and why I'm travelling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm travelling Europe in 2017 indefinitely and want to see and stay in as many places as I can. I'm not really interested in staying in hotels or hostels, I'd much rather stay with someone in their home and learn about their culture and the life they live in their amazing towns and cities. I'm happy to be fairly independent and won't expect a guide or anything, just some great company when available and the chance to stay with great people.

Information about New Zealand - there's a lot to the country besides Lord of the Rings, and I know a lot of people want to go there. I'm a good cook and would be happy to cook a nice meal or two while I'm there!
