A fifty-something woman on a journey of self-discovery. Raised my daughter, put her through college, left a boring career (job, really), sold my house, and a lot of my stuff (it's hard to do) and am setting off on an adventure. I don't know what I will find, but I am incredibly excited.

I will be traveling solo allowing me to go, do and be wherever the path takes me; no negotiation, no appeasement, just me, my wits, and my heart. My motto: Make your the story the best in the world. World, here I come!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Part of this journey is to meet new people, experience new cultures and see the world. I spent the first half of my life travelling the standard way (flights, upgrades, points accumulations on airlines and in hotels) now I want to do it slow and deliberately and Couchsurfing seems to be one way to accomplish this.
