我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I love to meet people, and see others from fresh perspectives, and live presently, and play with communication. CS seems a great way to do all of these things, and I am planning to live in New Zealand for a year next year, & maybe do some traveling around the states after, so it is a good fit! Also I enjoy caregiving, and have been called "mama keaton" by friends before... (no actual children, though) I tend to naturally hostess more than many I know, call it a southern girl thing if you will. I like being the "clutch" person. It makes for its own adventuresome stories. Gratitude is in abundance, and can spread like wildfire through things like CS.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Sang the opening to Christmas midnight Mass at Duke Chapel from up high with the organ (in the back), when I was about 11 and still a spritely soprano. The hidden spiral stone staircase getting me placed up there, and the echo of my child voice becoming everyone's voice, in a way, from way up there, all while gazing like from a bird's nest at the candlelit stained glass stories at the front of the chapel was...one of the best creative revivals I've ever felt, still to this day!!

Cozy house, sleeper sofa, futon, potentially a room with closed doors (depending on when/arrange with host), close to center of Durham (near Duke east campus & I bike downtown quite often), nearby bus lines, cat cuddles-see Leeloo "DJ Multipass" photos, I like to cook, very respectful, knowledge of Durham area and history, networking with local music/dance/theatre scenes
