I am a 26 year old backpacker from California, attempting to make my way around Australia. Six months ago, I quit my job in project management, and my boyfriend and I began our travels. We have been living together in Perth for the past few months and are hitting the road to check out the east coast. I am a lover of all things sports (soccer in particular), food, animals, fitness and travel. I've lived with Swedes, Germans, Argentinians and Australians, and every experience has been great. I'm easy to get along with, and will be very respectful of your space if you have me.

Because traveling for me is all about the people you meet along the way. After traveling anywhere, I always end up reminiscing about the people I was able to meet in each of them. While my boyfriend and I love hanging out and exploring together, we are eager to make new friends along the way.

I love all music, except for classical. Michael Jackson's Man in the Mirror holds a special place in my heart. I often struggle to have a long enough attention span for movies, but I do enjoy comedies, documentaries and whatever anyone else watching. I gravitate toward sociology/social science books, and love any book suggestions from friends.

I studied abroad for four months during university in Sweden. It allowed me to meet tons of new people from around the world, travel throughout Europe with my sister and friends, and learn a tiny bit of Swedish.

Teach: I can teach you soccer or fitness tips. I am a former collegiate soccer player, and a current personal trainer. Stuff about the U.S.-- seems to be a hot topic right now with our current political situation.
