I'm Lisa and 20 years old. July 2014 I came to the states to work as an au pair. A huge opportunity to get to know the culture to the fullest. I also meet so many people from different countries, became friends with amazing people I don't wanna miss anymore and found my second family in Texas.
I can say it was one of my best decisions. I am here till February 2016. I try my best to come around and to see as much as I can.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Traveling with couch surfing is a great opportunity to really get to live in that place you are traveling. You get to know new people, learn about their culture and hear about different ways of living life, which I think is really interesting.
You become friends with people you share a passion - to travel.

I am interested in so many things and I am always open to get to know new things.
Of course, on of my interests is traveling obviously. But beside this, I love dancing, planning new adventures, hanging out with my friends and do fun stuff together, spending time with my family, love listening to music, taking pictures and to be creative.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

My most favorite music is hip hop and EDM. But I am really open for everything. If I like the song, I like it and I don't care what kind of music it is.
Music is really important to me. You can listen to it however you feel and there is something for every situation.
The same with movies. But there is one kind of movies I really, really don't like. Horror movies. If you wanna watch with me a horror or psycho movie, be prepared for a lot of screaming around and trying to avoid to see what is happening :D

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

My amazing thing I have done is what I am doing right now. My au pair year. To live in a new country. I came here alone, knowing no one. And planing to live with a family together I just saw twice on Skype. But everything turned out perfect and I couldn't be more happy with this decision.

I can share about my culture and about the countries I have visited yet. We could cook some german food together and talk about how it is to live in germany and how different it is compare to other countries while learning about the hosts culture.
