Hi!
My name is Lisa. I'm a Danish girl soon moving to Edinburgh to begin my BA in film at Napier Uni after a year of experiencing the world outside an academic setting. I'm an IB graduate so god knows a break was needed.

I have just returned from a 7 week trip to Guatemala where I volunteered at a hostel and went on various adventures. Prior to this, I completed my basic training in the Danish army.

I'm friendly and easy-going. I love the arts (theatre, film, singing/music in general) and being active and outdoors. Used to do crossfit, indoor rock climbing and kayaking but I've had to stick to yoga whilst travelling. Really excited to be able to get back into those interests soon!

I've been vegetarian for six years and am trying to transition into veganism - it's about time. That being said, I never judge people for eating meat and can easily cook for myself if it's a problem for a host

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been on couchsurfing for a while, but never actually used it - hostel life always lured me in. However, I've stayed with friends, friends of friends or indeed mum's of friends a lot, which I guess is just the old-school version of this.

What I Can Share with Hosts

The best Danish chocolates! I never stay at someone's house without gifting them Anthon Berg marzipan, a habit I picked up from my grandmother.
