My name is Lisa and I am currently studying in Austria to become a primary school teacher. I am a open minded free spirited person. I encountered that I like traveling in different ways. I love days and nights in the cabin in the woods but also in a tend or hammoc. I like traveling by train or simply walking. I sometimes just walk, turn on music on my headphones and let my mind be free.
I prefer deep talk before small talks, like doing sports and enjoy also time by myself. I love love love animals and would also maybe like to work with them in the future. Music is a big factor in my life. Playing the guitar and singing makes me feel deeply happy and free and singing along with other people also just gives me chilles.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me it is so interesting which people you are going to meet in which cities and towns. This changes the way you see that place so much and I am super interested in the diversity of human beeings.

Interests

My interests are so broadly spread that I often can not even follow them. I am curious about so many things in this beautiful world. I am interested how harvesting works, growing vegetables, history, animals, human behavior, how to communicate in conflict situations, psychology, philosophy and so many more topics. 🌸

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
Super mixed. I love DnB for long dance nights, soft songs for sad moods, 'Schalger' for escalating in the beer tend, country music to feel the happy mood and always like to get to know new music.

Books:
I am super in love with the books of John Strelecky. 'The Café on the Edge of the World', 'The Big Five for Life', etc.
Furthermore I read many more books and right now I enjoy reading 'Everything is f~cked - A book about hope'.

Movies:
It always depends on the mood which movies I prefer but I love the new Disney Movies 'Encanto', 'Coco', 'Frozen' etc.
Moreover I enjoy mostly to watch documentaries and sometimes but very seldom some trashy episodes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In summer 2021 I traveled with a friend of mine 6 weeks through Guatemala. We decided to go there on the Vulcano Acatenango and it was the most challenging hike in my life. A big backpack with a 6 people tent and food inside. We walked about 7 hours straight up and I had some really horrible situations in which I thought I have to give up. It's too hard. But it wasn't!! We made it. 4000hm and we could see the Vulcano Fuego erupting. It was epic. We slept on the Vulcano but it was a real challenging night as the air was pretty thin. I was happy to get down on the next morning again. Unforgettable experience!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am in the process of learning to meditate and am open to talk about it and practice together.

I can teach basic skills of guitar and piano and also enjoy singing together. 🎹🎸🎤

My heart jumps higher while talking wildly about anything and getting in the philosophy direction. I just love starting to talk about any topic and ending up in a completely different corner and wondering about the way we do things or think about them.

In my education I learn a lot about how and what to teach children in primary school. I am a fan of outdoor education and learn about it as well and I'd be happy to share some knowledge.
