Hi, I'm Lisa and I live on the beautiful island of Texel in the Netherlands. I'm born and raised on the island. I finished high school, took a gap year and now started with studying Business Studies.

I'm a very nice, funny and open minded girl that loves to talk and have conversations about literally everything! I'm also into learning new things and having to step out of my comfortzone sometimes! I'm always super interested in the places I will be visiting, so tell me some fun facts if you have the time for it!

I like nature and would love to do some nice walks! On the other side I also love the city life and like to explore everything!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I could stay at hostels or airbnbs, but I think that its not giving me a full experience. I want to learn to know the world and the different cultures. Get to know the people and also a little bit the local life. It is also nice to have people to have good conversations with since i'm travelling by myself.

Intereses

I'm interested in almost everything. I like to visit museums and walk around the place i'm visiting to feel the vibe. I also like to try some good food and go to a movie or just quietly read a book somewhere in nature.

Música, películas y libros

I literally love all sorts of music! Music is my life. Mostly I listen to artists like Stevie Wonder, Queen, Fleetwood mac etc..but I also like Saint Motel or Frank Sinatra. I would love to discover all sorts of new music haha. I have been to different concerts but the best was the concert from Elton John!

My favourite movies are probably Disney movies, I know that i'm not a little kid anymore, but I still love the movies! I also like totally different movies like Terminator, Lord of the rings, Bridget jones... or some simple Netflix series!

My favourite book is Birk from Jaap Robben but I think its only available in Dutch. I also like Harry Potter and all sorts of adventure books. I mostly read dutch romans, thrillers and some classics.

I would love it to learn new things and to have some nice conversations, but only if you have the time for it. If you don't have the time I will definitely respect that :)

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

We can have good conversations, cook something together, go for a hike or watch a movie or just something else. I can learn you some basic Dutch words if you would like that or tell some more about living on the island or even bring you something Dutch from here if you want (like stroopwafels or drop) 😁
