I'm a Canadian with an over-fondness for Japanese culture! After finishing my history degree, I launched over to Japan and taught English in Aomori prefecture where I learned to snowboard.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite book is "Life of Pi." I like pondering old philosophical works as well.

As for movies, anything directed by Steven Kubrick or Christopher Nolan, or films set in space like "Star Trek", "Gravity" and "Interstellar". I am a sucker for cute films too - Ghibli and Pixar steal my heart.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing Mt. Fuji. The climb was challenging and fun and the sunrise was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen!
