Hello my dear friends!

My name is Cody. I’m 20 years old, half German (father) half Thai (mother). I just moved out this year and now share a flat with a good friend of mine.

I’m a very kind (and sweet and small) person who loves to explore and try new things. I tend to be shy at first but whenever you make me feel comfortable and safe (by talking a lot, being nice and open) I’ll open up and start being crazy (lovely crazy) and enthusiastic around/about you.

I’m a good listener though I can be quite taciturn/silent sometimes. But that doesn’t mean that I don’t like you, just shy or tired ;) Also I’m very carefree, because I can easily adapt to new situations or environments and the biggest PLUS is: I can eat (almost) everything and I love love love to try new foods. So if you want to share something with me, please feel free to do so!

In my free time I do a lot of singing (playing guitar) and drawing. I love photographing and making films (as well as watching them). My favorite hobby though, is acting, specifically theatre and musical. I started about 2 years ago only but got to get a lot of experiences and meet new interesting people already. Of course I do not only love to act but also going to the theatre and visiting musicals make me happy. Last but not least I would say, that learning new languages is also a hobby of mine, even though I’m only completely fluid in 3 languages; I tend to learn a bit of everything you know :) Right now, I’m learning Icelandic by myself and I plan to visit Iceland one day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I‘ve only just finished my final exams and got my Abitur. I decided to start traveling around a bit and meet new countries, languages and people before I start studying (English and Arts) or go on with further education. That means I’m very new to Couchsurfing and haven’t had my first experience with it yet , that’s why I’d love to find something very quickly and finally travel on my own.
