Hey hey,

I am Lisa, 23 years old. I am a German girl with Vietnamese background who currently lives and works as a volunteer in Latvia. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Law and will soon start my Master. I would describe myself as an open minded person. I am happy to learn about other cultures and also respect them.

I am very interested in culinary stuff 😋 Maybe one day I can even open my own café. I am not sure about the country yet. I love the beach and would love to be able to live near one someday.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have only heard from other volunteers about their great experiences with Couchsurfing and decided to give it a try and it was by far my best decision. Couchsurfing is an awesome way to get to know new people and also to get to know the location from a more non-touristic side. It’s also great when you want to travel alone but not alone alone. So far I have had almost only good experiences and can’t wait to make more.

I love the genres comedy, fantasy, science fiction, action and crime. Games of thrones, Money heist and Manifest are my latest tv series ❤️ I love reading but due to the lack of time I wasn’t able to read much lately.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have taken part in a few exchange programs when I was younger, going to France, Algeria and Vietnam. It was such a cool experience. By living together with so many people in a house, you really get close with them very quickly. I enjoyed an awesome seven-course buffet at the German ministry of defense. I also met Emmanuel Macron and took a selfie with Angela Merkel. AND of course volunteering in lovely Latvia 🇱🇻

I would really love to see the places I travel to through the eyes from locals, learning more about the culture and of course some slang 😆 If by any coincidence you have a plotter or laser cutter at home and don’t know how to use it I can assist you. Also I love baking and cooking and if the time allows and if I can get the needed ingredients I would love to share with you.
