About Me
ABOUT ME
I feel fortunate to have a strong curiosity, which ends up meaning that I generally enjoy people and their stories (and nature, animals, art, community activism - curiosity can lead you almost anywhere). And I also enjoy solitude, which, in small part is what led me to my work - putting on buddhist studies programs at various locations around the country. These courses are based on the traditional monastic curriculum taught to monks in Tibet.
Interests
Buddhist study and practice, scientific research regarding the mind, visual art (making and viewing), the wilderness, creativity in the field of environmental science, self-mocking humor that helps me and others to laugh at our human foibles.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Immediately after a bolt of lightening struck the small Colorado Spring backyard where I was standing, a lightening ball appeared in front of me. I was, maybe 7 years old, so my memory is a bit blurry. But it was certainly mind blowing.
Nearly falling off a steep grade near the top of a mountain pass when I was backpacking alone, off-trail. Yikes.
