About Me
Hi, my parents are from Vietnam but I was born and raised in Germany. Currently I try to travel as much as I can before starting my job in January (resident in surgery).
Even though I like working a lot in a hospital, I love being outside. I'm very much into hiking, especially in the mountains. This summer I spend some time hiking in the pyrenees, which I liked a lot. The quiet nature, the views, being far away from noisy cities and waking up in my tent by sunlight is what I love about it. I also hiked a lot in Spain on the Camino de Santiago which is less a hike but more a unique pilgrimage every time.
I love reading, mostly old classics but also cyberpunk literature or books about history. Being able to spend some hours reading is a luxury to me because in daily life I'm usually busy with other things. Besides, I also like doing sports like bouldering, cycling, table-tennis or learn to play ukulele.
Whenever I have money and time, I travel around the world. Its important to me to get to know new people, cultures and also some parts of new languages. Currently I'm learning some French and Korean. Languages are for me the key to new countries. Also I always want to try the local food and if there is the possibility to learn cooking some local dishes I'm willing to do that too.
For me it's important to stay curious and interested in new ideas and ways.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'd like to start couchsurfing to get to know local people and to learn about their way of life in different countries. Also its nice to make new friendships in this way, and someday I maybe can return the favor by helping you to get around in Germany.
