ABOUT ME

Lingering with family and friends is the best. Love meeting new people and hearing their story. My husband Dan and I enjoy cooking, so we eat pretty well. Day dreamer and friendly introvert, music lover. Love to travel and find the hidden treasures. Bike riding around Wichita and the river and downtown is a favorite date! Love art and connecting to the art and the artist's lives.

Love God, Love people. Say yes to opportunities. See the world and love as many as you can along the way. Learn about and encourage everyone you can. Always make room for others.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
So far just surfing. We love traveling and think it teaches us so much about others and their cultures. We hope to host at some point down the road.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfed only twice so far, once to go see the Shakespeare Fest in Kansas City and once on our way to California to see our son. Hope to do more surfing . Older couch surfer.

兴趣

Star gazing on the trampoline with others. Reading, writing, cooking, biking, puttering with my garden and yard, encouraging young people in their art. We raised our family, now trying to thin out the nest and stream line our lives and have adventures and serve others as much as possible!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Raised three sons with my husband Dan who are all good men in their 20's and 30's. They all know a good adventure when they see one and they all can make a decent red sauce when needed... Visited Rome, Florence and Venice in the March of 2016 with eight students and two other faculty from the school where I teach after months of studying Italian history....Watched our three sons play "Crack the egg" on a trampoline. It stressed me out, so I stopped watching. 15 minutes later, I looked back out, and they were laying quietly on the trampoline as it softly rained. They were watching it fall and just being together. I love sons in harmony.
