ABOUT ME

I love to travel. I have taken only one major trip by myself - all others with family, friends and with my (ex) boyfriend. I've noticed that as I get older it is harder and harder to find traveling companions, so if I want to continue my adventures, I have to go it on my own.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is that I don't need a personal philosophy. ;-)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am available to have coffee/lunch/dinner with folks coming to the Los Angeles area and I am looking for the same on my upcoming trips.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had my first CS experience in Japan and it was awesome! Miriam took me out to dinner and Mochan took me out for a drink. It's so great to show up in a new place and have friends waiting for you!

Interests

I love good restaurants, museums, spas and all the good things in life. I have to admit that I am not really into nature, but I will go to the beach with you if you insist. LOL. I enjoy learning about history and cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies and I go out to see them in the theater as often as possible. BUT I must go and see a movie during the opening weekend or I lose interest. Can't really name a favorite because I have many favorites that change depending on mood and my state in life.

I read some chick lit but sometimes read things that are more serious (usually for work). I read a lot of articles about news, history, travel, art and culture. I'm a bit of an information junkie.

I enjoy R&B mostly. Some of the newer stuff, but mostly old school R&B and classic soul. I also like old school hip hop, classic rock, and some classical music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw the most amazing waterfalls in Hawaii - they almost seemed fake (like Hollywood staged).

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hosts can expect a high-energy person who likes to hang. I like to be out and about absorbing it all. I will get you off of that couch!

I'm a bit of a morning person, so sometimes I crash and burn.
