I have been back in Bristol for 5 years and have started an NGO called Interculture ( TRaining and Events on Facebook) Website www.interculturecic@gmail.com We bring people together to reduce the 'them versus us' and combat discrimination. Themes include challenging Islamophobia, racism, refugees, identity, unconscious bias etc...

ABOUT ME

I'm friendly and open minded. Ilike most people i meet and talk alot but i do know when to shut up ( normally) passionate, assertive and confident but also sensitive. I'm learning to like my own company / I like being around people /staying in and going out . Getting more and more into self care

I've just read Loius de Berniere, the War of Don Emmanuels Neither Parts ..loved it ..before that Secret Life of Bees , Kite Runner and Why I am No Longer Talking to White People About Race.
I dont like horrors or really sad films ..i know its pathetic.
music wise ecletic including soul, funk, dub, motown, drum and bass,reggae, northern soul,flamenco,cumbia,classics like janis joplin,led zepplin,hendrix and lots more.

I have been teaching English for about 23rs and i love it . I teach a bit of Spanish .i know quite a lot about intercultural stuff....British/European culture/ immigration/ racism/ unconscious bias/social issues etc...
I can play pool (billiards) quite well and i can teach people to whistle ( loudly)
