Not hosting at the moment since I don’t have a house anymore and will be traveling for some time.
Adventurous, free-spirited, purposeful, flexible, positive, doesn’t take life too serious but also ambitious, nature lover yet also a city girl.
Interested in way too many topics, ranging from science-art-politics-economics-finance-sports-music (among others), I’m sure we’ll have something to talk about.
Sports: I like to try out new sports every now and then. Currently hooked on dancing (bachata)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to see differences in culture and I think we can learn something from every perspective. I love to have a cultural exchange, love to learn new languages and to have a good time together, to dance and be silly but also to relax and have meaningful conversations.
Dancing, traveling, learning new languages, many sports!! I try to be an advocate for equity, the climate, and I'm interested in politics as there is so much that needs to change in this word.
- salsa dancing
- yoga and meditation
Music, Movies, and Books
Depending on my mood, I listen to a certain style of music. I like almost any type of music. Lately I’ve been listening to a lot of latin, afrobeats and hiphop music.
Forrest Gump, Friends, Casa de Papel, Dix Pourcent, vis-a-vis, chicas del cable, vikings, outlander, the bridge, tiempos de guerra, freedom writers; sense8, palmeras en la nieve, free state of jones, Plan Coeur, unorthodox, aircrash investigation
I like to read books that fascinate me, a bit mysterious, about things that we know very little about, for example the regime in North Korea.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I recently volunteered in a project organized by the Dutch government to help a Ghanaian entrepreneur produce corona masks as cost effective and sustainable as possible for the Ghanaian people.
Teach, Learn, Share
Random facts or insights, I can teach yoga or bachata (which are also art for me and not just sports).
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a positive person who often has a smile on her face and I hope that it infects other people to stay positive and be happy as well.
I would be happy to let you taste my signature couscous or pasta! Though I have to warn you, I don’t cook dishes in a very traditional way, I like to experiment and mix different cuisines.
