ABOUT ME

I am a educator-student-teacher, and a visual-arts student at Concordia University (Montreal). I play music and like to compose songs once in a while. I also like to dance rockabilly jive and crochet.

I like to read comic books on rainy days and taking long walks on sunny ones. My favourite season is autumn.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in compassion, because everybody needs love and respect.

Also one should never take anything personal, because it is not about you.

I am unable to host travellers at the moment, but I would LOVE to show you around and hang out! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In my life, I've travelled a lot, and was lucky enough to encounter many of interesting people and to build many beautiful friendships.

In 2005, I was part of the SENS project and was able to stay with a Maya family in Guatemala. There I was able to study the effects of acculturation on their traditional costumes, but also to experience a marvellous cultural experience.

Through the Au-pair program and the HC, I also had other very pleasant experiences.

My first official CS experience was in February 2009, in the city of Toronto, when I surfed with Barbara Neilson, the best host anyone could ever wish for!

My all time favourite book is Victor Hugo's "Les Misérables", I really like singer songwriter Jens Lekman's music and my favourite movie is Spirited Away.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw a shark once I was scuba diving!
I host an exhibit of my art one a year since my 25th birthday.
