ABOUT ME

I'm an easy going, independent and social person. I can be very quiet but i can also be crazy and funny. I love humor and people who are down to earth. Other people will tell you that i am a really open person with a big heart. I like it when people challenge me and i like adventure, makes me feel alive! Besides that, i am pretty direct, most of the times i just say everything that comes up to my mind. I have learned to not do that at inappropriate times though. I think people and their minds are interesting and that's why i am a social worker. I love to work with people, i'm good at it.

PHILOSOPHY

For me it is really important to treat other people the way you want to be treated yourself, without asking for something in return.

These days i see so much judgement, so much discrimination, people take care more and more just about theirselves.

I wish for us all that the world some day will be a bit more accepting and peaceful.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host and surf whenever I can.
Sometimes I like to go to couchsurfing events!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I hosted quite a lot people at my home, sometimes just for 1 night and sometimes for almost a week. The thing i love about it is that every person has different interests, stories and thoughts, from every couchsurfer i learn something new, i love it! I surfed a couple of times as well now and this makes me feel so good during my journey because you really do learn a lot about the culture of the country when you hang out with the local people. It is amazing that you can have such a good time with people you didn't even know before.

I love couchsurfing because, most of the times, it is based on trusting eachother. We don't think it is strange to invite "strangers"to our homes and we like to be openminded and welcoming. I really like that! (eventhough i also had some bad experience with bad people here)

兴趣

I love music! I listen to it all the time. Used to play soprano saxophone for years. I love home concerts with friends, going out to see live music. I like all kinds of music. Jazz, classical, reggae, indie, folk, rock and in special i like rockabilly music (rock 'n roll) I can dance on that all night long!

I grew up with dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, birds and i have four cats myself so i'm a big big animal lover.

I like to cook and to learn different kinds of recipies.

I'm a big fan of beautiful nature.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

For almost all my life I've been afraid of water and heights. Untill I was at the amazing country Georgia. We went rafting with a group in the mountains and I ended up jumping from a 8 meter high riverbank into a wildwater river. Ofcourse it almost went wrong, this always has to happen to me....

For some people this will maybe be no big deal. For me this was really a moment of overcoming my fears and go out of my comfort zone and i realized a lot after doing it. I will never forget it
