To learn to be grateful for where I am, right here and now. Also, to remember to look on the brightside and aim to complain less.
Ready to explore beaches, mountains, caves, bars, foods, and more! I'm a very neat, tidy, and gracious guest.
Inhaling feelings of peace and well-being. Exhaling all negativity, which no longer serves you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've only surfed so far but each time was a really great experience. I met some wonderful people and got to experience what it was like to live in Jakarta, Indonesia, Alpine, TX, Bangkok, Thailand, and Marfa, TX. I am excited to surf more and begin hosting soon.
It's great to be introduced to amazing fooood by locals, both homemade and at restaurants.
I love practicing and teaching yoga, hiking, riding bikes, reading and watching movies. Also, eating and drinking.

Music, Movies, and Books
ALL the movies.
Some music I'm currently listening to: Beck, War on Drugs, St. Vincent, Arcade Fire, She & Him, Regina Spektor, The Orwells. Also, a lot of "classic rock": CCR, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin. Bob Dylan.
Currently reading: Sinclair Lewis
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Too many. But seeing the friendliness of all the people of the Philippines and Myanmar, even those who are monetarily impoverished, was really beautiful and had a really positive effect on my own frame of mind.
Scuba diving is an amazing travel hobby. I've had amazing 3rd and 4th dives around Phi Phi, Thailand. Got to see 2 turtles, an octopus, anemone crabs, moray eel, and some black tip reef sharks all in two dives! Recently l got my advanced divers in Koh Tao and went on my first wreck and night dives. So exciting!
Teach, Learn, Share
After living and teaching for a year in Daegu, South Korea I've really began to live out my dream of experiencing and learning more about other cultures and countries. Gaining advice on where to do this best, or from first hand encounters with people from other countries, is what I hope to accomplish using couchsurfing.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories of my experiences, meditations on life, and sincere gratitude. Yoga lessons, English language tips, and I can cook!
