I live with my spouse and our yorkie in a two bedroom about 3 miles from Berkeley and a 30min BART ride from downtown SF...we're loving this stage in our life, skiing at Tahoe and spending time with friends!

Hoping to host some surfers, then when I have more vacation days, go and visit the people I meet here!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was told about this site by several friends, some who had couch surfed, others who had hosted, all had very positive stuff to say!

yes.
Chick flicks, yes, the sappy ones. My hubby likes anything action or based on a cartoon.

we both love scifi, I'm a teen fiction person, and love any sort of journalistic books.

I'm still trying to define my music tastes, recently into techno, love oldies like simon and garfunkel, christian rock [it may well be an oxymoron], good heavy metal - like the black album from metallica, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

saw the pope elected...climbed Mont Sainte Victoire...walked on Abby road...Skied the Alps...wandered Germany at 2am...had a conversation entirely on a sketch pad...met the SS agents for president Clinton...geocached, well, everywhere...tried to go through platform 9 and 3/4...was offered a job in Sicily...saw the ball drop in NYC...attended a Berkeley protest...and look forward to doing more!
