I'm very social, outgoing and a energetic girl, and I love to travel, and meet new people! During my spare time I love to dance, play theater, do volunteer work and hang out with friends. There's nothing that makes me more happy than booking new plane tickets and knowing that I have a new adventure ahead of me. I've done quite a lot of traveling for my age, and done exchange years/ study abroad two times already, but the excitement for a new adventure never fades away.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm genuinely interested in other cultures and learning about them, and I belive interacting with locals is the best way of getting to know the local culture, traditions and history. I'm very new to Couchsurfing, but I'm looking forward to try it out, and make new friendships through it. While traveling I want to experience more than just "touristy"things, and that's why I believe Couchsurfing is such a brilliant idea.

Interests

I love dance! I've been dancing pretty much my whole life. I've taken lessons in jazz, contemporary, ballet, salsa, bachata, and I've tried several other types of dance as well. While traveling I want to explore new types of dance, both watching people perform, and try/ take lessons myself!

I also spend quite a lot of time volunteering, through different organizations. For over four years now I've been volunteering through an organization called AFS, where we work for a more just and peaceful world, through student exchanges. In high school I did an exchange year to the US myself, and that's when I started to appreciate meeting locals to learn about the country I'm in. Through AFS I've met so many amazing people from all over the world.

People. I love being social, meet new people, hang out with friends, talk with my friends. You name it .. :) I just love being around other people

Music, Movies, and Books

Honestly, I spend very little time both reading and watching movies, so I don't have any favorites in particular. What I listen to of music depend on my mood and what I'm doing, and can vary greatly. After my trip to Latin America I fell in love with Spanish music, so I listen quite a lot to that.
