I've moved to Chester in 2012, originally from the Netherlands. I love the countryside. I'm the manager of a wool shop, and training to be a yoga teacher.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There seems to be an attitude of us versus them in the world, and I don't want to just go along with that. I want to live my life trusting in the kindness of strangers. I want to meet all sorts of people and hear their stories. I want to help then on their travels where I can.

I can teach yoga, mindfulness, guided meditations... or teach you how to crochet, and make you proper Dutch pancakes. I know quite a bit of history of Britain generally or Chester specifically, and can give you a tour around town.
