ABOUT ME

I am smart, funny and very social. I love meeting new people. learning and traveling. My Mom is from London, my Dad was from Italy and I recently moved to Italy to be closer to my family here. I am a Professor of Communication and will be teaching English in Milan. My life is Eat, Pray, Love minus the divorce and the other two countries meets Sex and the City minus the budget. Health, family, friends, fun and adventure are above all the most important things in life.

I am always participating in something! I LOVE to make other people laugh. Going out or staying in, there is always fun to be had.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Zero but heard great things from friends. Looking forward to it for sure, especially to meet new people. I love languages too so I hope I can learn more Spanish, French and Portugese.

Interests

I am interested in almost everything. Traveling is my favorite hobby. I love meeting new people. learning lanugages, chatting, eating, drinking, dancing, animals (except for snakes- ugh) and am so proud of my English, Irish and Italian culture and family. I absolutely love to read but you will rarely find me at home if I have the potential to be out exploring and enjoying the company of others.

The Time Traveler's Wife, Jane Eyre, The Tipping Point, The Godfather, Love Acutally and thousands more books and movies for sure. I am a nosy and curious learner.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taught on a sailboat in the Caribbean for 6 months, went scuba diving with a shark and have gone diving over 20 times, backpacked through Europe, volunteered with pets and adopted many, rode horses, windsurfed, went cliff jumping in Pisa and there are soooooo many more!

Teach, Learn, Share

Love meeting everyone. Seriously. My degrees are in communication and I taught Public Speaking at colleges in the US and the Caribbean for over 11 years. I live to meet other people, story sway, share fun times, etc. I have long, lasting friendships with many.
