I am a 26 year old student from the west coast of Sweden. Brought up on a farm in the countryside, I am currently living in a flat in the town of Skövde together with my husband, with one year to go (hopefully) to finish my studies in educational sciences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Last summer my husband and I surfed three different couches during a trip to the US. All of our hosts were such nice, fun and friendly people, so we will definitely continue surfing!

Interests

I love travelling and meeting new people, dancing salsa and other types of dance, reading good novels and watching movies, learning about foreign cultures and languages, spending time in nature and hanging out with friends and family.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Again, its difficult to pick just one. When it comes to travelling, I had a wonderful trip to Peru in 2002, when I travelled alone for the first time to meet my penn-friend and spend a month with her family. My two trips to Ecuador with my dear husband in 2006 and 2009 were also amazing, with adventurous excurcions to the rainforest, the Andes and the Galapagos Islands, as well as our stay in Tokyo in 2007, a wonderful city in a wonderful country!
When it comes to my life in general, some of my most amazing experiences has been falling in love with and marrying my husband, and times of love and intimacy spent with my family and closest friends.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm basically a language person. I could teach you some Swedish (or English or Spanish, depending on your level). I might also be able to give a few pieces of advice on how to grow vegetables, or teach you how to cook some traditional Swedish food.
In exchange, I would love to learn how to play the guitar, how to bake bread and cake and practice my skills in any language, except Swedish,....
